Catching Up with Life

Since my last post a lot has happened. It has been consistent that I go home from the office around 11pm since May. I also got to work a lot of Saturdays and Sundays. Aside from that I do not get to pass by the mall and catch up on store releases.

Since last week, the catching up with life has begun.

1. GilIIZero Collection
This collection rocks. In June, Adidas has released 5 from his collection namely the Black President, Hibachi Benihana, and Vote to Gilbert for men and Bugs and Tweety for kids. This July 3 more were released, the NBA Live 08, Channel Zero and Agent Zero. Looking at my shoe collection, 4 of the 8 are already there. Catch me rocking them during Fridays and weekends.

2. JerseyHaven's All Star Hoopla
I just had to be here. This event was composed of 2 parts, Train Like a Pro, Play Like a Pro. I decided to join the later event where I got to play with some amateur players. Having no previous game played, I definitely sucked on the court. I was also a recipient of elbows to the chest by Solomon Mercado which made me catch my breath I walked down the court but I finished the game with 2 points, 1 rebound and an assist. Best thing that happened here, I got my Alvarez and Baguio jersey autographed.

3. Nike Summer League
I was expecting that a Nike-sponsored team would win this tournament. Chris Tiu had other things in mind when he sank the game winner. UE showed signs of exhaustion in the final minutes where they were scoreless in the final 3 minutes. Eric Salamat was named tournament MVP. An Adidas team just won the Nike Summer League.

4. Movies
Since basketball was still out, I needed to do something else. During weekends, I watch movies and some of the movies that I have seen so far are The Incredible Hulk, Kung Fu Panda, Speed Racer, Wanted and Get Smart. Not so behind now am I?

5. UAAP Basketball Season 71
Basketball starts today. Today is the opening of the 71st Season of the UAAP and its going to be a day at home watching nothing but basketball. Tomorrow will be Ateneo LaSalle and I still need to get upper A tickets.

There you go a lot of things that I have caught up and been catching up on.
